ABOUT ME

I am a South Florida native and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University and went on to a obtain Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University.

After completing my formal education, I strived to advance my clinical expertise in various settings including: crisis intervention, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. I have worked with a variety of mental health and substance abuse concerns in individual and family sessions. I have also facilitated numerous psychoeducational groups that focused on coping skills, safety planning, and altering negative thinking patterns. My approach is integrative, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, expressive arts, and holistic concepts.

  • I love coffee. I even have a tattoo of a coffee cup.
  • My dog's name was inspired by a character from The Walking Dead.
  • I love Marvel movies and TV shows (especially superhero landings and hallway fight scenes).
